The Story

Cara grows up under the protective wing of Hudson, her gentle and mute grandfather, after being separated from her mother as a child. While Hudson shields her through every storm, life continues to strike the pair with relentless force. Meanwhile, Winona, Cara’s birth mother, remains oblivious to her daughter’s pain. She ignores the suffering unfolding before her, blind to the fact that her indifference is shattering the only family left with a chance to heal.
