From Our Ashes

The Story

Elizabeth waits in the emergency room day and night, only to hear of her mother's death. She calls her husband Adam and hears a woman moaning in the background. Tears fall as Adam snaps that she is trying to blackmail him for one hundred million dollars. He insists her mother is not worth that amount, even if she truly died. Just before he hangs up, a woman whispers that she cannot wait any longer.
