From the Ashes of the Past

The Story

Elizabeth waits day and night in the ER until her mother dies. She calls her husband Adam, but hears a woman moaning in the background. He accuses her of cheating and demands one hundred million dollars. Adam barks that Elizabeth is too generous for three years and asks if she is blackmailing him. He claims her mother’s life is not worth the money. Before he hangs up, a woman’s voice says, Honey, I can’t wait anymore.
