The Story

Five-year-old Rose defies all odds after her cruel aunt throws her into a mountain wolf den, where she unexpectedly tames the giant grizzly bear Bruno. Her father, Captain Jim Marshall, vanished during a top-secret overseas mission, and the military officially declared him killed in action. Rose refuses to accept this verdict, convinced her dad is still alive. She mounts Bruno and travels across half the United States to find him, overcoming poachers, bureaucracy, blizzards, and minefields. When elite special forces fail, Rose commands her animal army of grizzly bears, wolves, black bears, and mountain lions into enemy territory. Her determined leadership creates a miracle on the battlefield, proving that nothing can stop a bear commanded by a five-year-old girl on her relentless quest to reunite with her missing father.
