Godforged: Ten Scraps of Iron
The Story
Pyrrhos, the guild’s invisible hammer-hand, watches his senior brother Deryk claim credit for Firstlight, a masterpiece built from Pyrrhos’s stolen designs and three years of labor. When the master reveals ten rusted iron scraps as his final payment, a thread of pure gold flame erupts from the dying furnace behind him. This supernatural spark marks the beginning of a new path. Pyrrhos takes the scraps, joins a girl carrying a broken family sword, and secures a wartime order in a landlord’s back room. He builds a forge from nothing to fulfill the contract and systematically exposes the guild’s fraudulent runes. The fire in his hands traces back to a bloodline connected to Hephaestus. It links to a father who burned his workshop to protect the plans for the Godslayer and an order of ashes hunting the scattered fragments. A name from Delphi awaits him, but Pyrrhos chooses to earn his own identity through the work of his hands and the truth of his craft.
