The Story

A red light on Lily's wrist signals pain, yet her mother mistakes it for deceit. Her twin Ruby wears a fake green band to frame Lily and steal her mother's affection. On New Year's Eve, Lily endures appendicitis while her mother ignores the red warnings, dismissing them as lies. Lily dies alone in agony. Later, the mother discovers a diary revealing the bracelet detects physical suffering, not dishonesty. Consumed by guilt, she attacks Ruby and leaves her crippled. Father dies in despair. The mother ends her own life while clutching the diary, finally freeing Lily's spirit from the cycle of abuse and misunderstanding.
