The Story

Marina Silva, a dedicated beautician from the favela, finds herself at the center of a high-stakes arrangement after a humiliating encounter at a charity gala. Leonardo Rocha, the cold heir to a business empire, offers her a contract to serve as his fake fiancée to protect his family’s image. Marina accepts solely to save her mother and shop, refusing to be bought. Inside the mansion, she endures judgment from his mother, Teresa, while slowly winning over his grandmother and Leonardo himself. Their arrangement begins to feel genuine, but the past intervenes when Leonardo’s old love returns, revealing Marina was chosen for her resemblance to another woman. Teresa then frames Marina as a gold digger using an edited video. To preserve her dignity, Marina leaves in the rain. Two years later, she returns as the founder of Favela Glow, a brand empowering local women. When the truth emerges, Leonardo apologizes and seeks another chance. Marina, no longer waiting to be chosen, demands he earn her heart anew.
