He Left Me Penniless. I Froze His Wedding Card
The Story
Eleanor Grant vanishes from public view for six years to back her husband Jason’s business, funding the launch of Pierce Apparel. Jason betrays her with designer Lila and forces a divorce that leaves Eleanor seemingly destitute, assuming she has no means of survival. He fails to realize she holds thirty percent of the company’s equity. Immediately after the split, she freezes the credit card Jason intends to use for his million-dollar wedding, plunging the ceremony into chaos. With legal counsel Ethan and friend Nora by her side, Eleanor exposes Jason’s embezzlement of corporate funds to support Lila and his family’s theft of her late mother’s heirlooms. The opposing families retaliate with fabricated evidence and smear campaigns, but Eleanor dismantles each attack. She seizes control of the enterprise and launches her own brand, ECHO Apparel. She also defeats supplier Marty’s scheme to short her stock. Her career peaks when her grandfather Harold summons a family council, setting the stage for a new round of dynastic power games.
