The Story

Valentina Moretti commands the South Harbor docks, having inherited her father’s empire and stripped it of its darkest crimes. She now operates legitimate logistics, private security, and nightclubs, while the press still labels her The Harbor Queen. Grace Quinn, an Irish-American former Marine Corps military police officer, works as an FBI agent in the Organized Crime Division. Authorized jointly by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts and the FBI, Grace infiltrates the Moretti estate posing as a private security guard candidate. Her direct supervisor is Senior FBI Agent Diane Chen. District Attorney Evan Moretti, Valentina’s half-brother, supplies intelligence but lacks authority to direct Grace. The operation aims to confirm whether Valentina embezzled disaster relief funds, manipulated union pension funds, laundered money, or obstructed a federal investigation. The probe quickly takes a turn. Valentina is not the mastermind.
