His Ex-Wife Was the Heiress

The Story

Ione spends three years as a forgotten presence in Cillian’s life, overshadowed by his obsession with Odette. While Cillian champions his first love and ignores Ione’s illness and birthday, he forces her to endure a painful five-month induction alone in the hospital. She initiates a divorce, surrendering all assets for a clean break, but Cillian refuses to sign. He employs delays, media manipulation, and scheming tactics to pressure her. Then Ione’s true identity emerges. She is the founder of the design studio WEN and the lost heiress of the Aldridge Group. The woman Cillian dismissed has been quietly holding the Hale Group together. She severs ties and exposes the truth to the public. Stepping onto the industry stage, she drives Cillian to ruin. At last, she signs the divorce decree and walks onto her own award stage.
