His Ex-Wife Was the Heiress

The Story

Ione endures three years as an invisible spouse to Cillian, who prioritizes his friends, investments, and former flame Odette over her well-being. When Odette returns, Cillian defends her publicly and moves her into the master bedroom, leaving Ione to face a five-month hospital induction alone. She chooses divorce, relinquishing all assets for a clean break, but Cillian refuses to sign the papers, deploying media tactics and schemes to pressure her. Her true identity then emerges as the founder of the mysterious design studio WEN and the lost heiress of the Aldridge Group. The woman he dismissed has been quietly holding the Hale Group together. Ione cuts all ties, exposes the truth to the world, and steps onto the industry stage, driving Cillian to ruin. She finally signs the divorce decree and walks onto her own award stage.
