I Adopted a Lucky Star (2): All Episodes

The Story

The village brands orphan Poppy a curse, but Wade defies their warnings and adopts her. Her first act leads him to a wild beehive, securing twelve pounds of honey and his initial profit. She then spots fish in a creek and identifies roadside weeds that restore sight to Grandma’s blind eye. By age three, she masters every herb, predicts landslides, and calms wild pheasants so they allow her to touch their eggs. Despite rumors that she collapsed an orphanage, Wade ignores the fear. He carries her into the hills, harvesting bamboo shoots and digging for herbs. While local bachelors struggle with pennies, Wade earns real money through her guidance. The same villagers who once shunned her now beg her to examine their sick. Poppy shines only for those who deserve her, proving she is a mountain’s gift rather than a jinx.
