I Fell for My Own Husband
The Story
Piper signs a contract marriage with a mysterious billionaire to cover her grandmother’s medical bills, but the couple barely speaks before parting ways. Years later, she secures a position at Blackwood Group as a talented young designer. She lands the direct assignment for the company’s cold CEO, Julian. Neither employee recognizes the other, unaware that they are already legally bound as husband and wife. Their professional rivalry intensifies as external threats emerge, including jealous rivals, workplace schemes, fake documents, drugging, and kidnapping. A woman even pretends to be Julian’s wife. These obstacles force Piper and Julian to confront their growing attraction. They struggle to resist their feelings because they believe both are married to other people. The tension peaks when the truth surfaces just as they prepare to finalize their divorce. They discover the ultimate twist: the person each has been searching for all along is the one standing right in front of them.
