I Left After Forgiving Her 100 Times
The Story
Graham Whitmore, the white-robed Prime Minister, sacrifices his own health to repay a debt owed to the late Emperor. He wears his white robe for the empire and makes a solemn promise to the dying ruler. He vows to forgive the new Empress, his daughter, exactly one hundred times. He will yield no matter how many corrupt ministers she shields or how far astray she goes. The promise stands firm regardless of the corruption or the deviation. However, a strict limit defines this endurance. When the one hundredth instance arrives, Graham will walk away. He will never look back.
