The Story

Leo, a graduate student, lands on Merfolk Island and mistakes the powerful siren Opal for a merman. He teaches the creature courtship songs, inadvertently convincing Opal that Leo is in love with him. Opal has waited over a decade for this specific man, who previously rescued him but later lost his memory. Upon discovering the truth, Leo flees. A heartbroken Opal responds by imprisoning him. Misunderstandings and intense passion eventually lead to their reconciliation. Leo proposes to Opal, citing their unborn child as the reason. Opal secures legal status during this period.
