I Went to Prison for My Husband’s Mistress.
The Story
Evelyn Bennett sacrifices twenty-five years of devotion to Professor Richard Whitmore, only to have her family force her to accept the blame for a car crash caused by Richard’s mistress, Celeste. Falsely imprisoned for six months, she emerges to expose the affair and leave with her brother, Marcus. As she reclaims her fashion career, Nathan discovers the truth in her journal, while Celeste and Sabrina sabotage Evelyn’s dress at a major competition, allowing her to turn the destruction into a winning masterpiece. When her criminal record surfaces, Evelyn presents evidence of her framing, securing her position as Chief Designer of Adava Fashion Group. Sabrina later begs for forgiveness, and Richard suffers a stroke after his debts collapse. Despite rescuing grandson Milo from bullies, the family continues to blame Evelyn. In the hospital, Richard pleads for her return, but she refuses, choosing herself over them as she walks into the sunlight to start a new life.
