Late Regrets

The Story

Karen, a housewife married to wealthy lawyer Tom, is caught in the act of infidelity when their home erupts in flames. Her five-year-old daughter, Anna, plummets from the upper floor and is swiftly rescued by Merry. The pair rushes the child to the hospital in a fire truck, but the emergency vehicle collides with Karen’s car along the route. Unaware that the injured passenger inside is her own daughter, Karen selfishly blocks the road. She demands an apology and compensation, refusing to move. Her actions unknowingly delay the medical team, destroying Anna’s only chance of survival. The collision and Karen’s obstruction create a catastrophic barrier between the child and the hospital, sealing her fate in a moment of tragic irony.
