The Story

Harper endures relentless cruelty from her husband Samuel, who is manipulated by his assistant Ruby into forcing her into a brutal institution. Inside the academy, she faces degrading tests and severe physical and psychological harm that Samuel has contractually authorized. The trauma strips away her identity, leaving her a hollow shell who can no longer play the cello. Upon seeing footage of her suffering, Samuel is consumed by guilt. He rescues her and exposes Ruby as the true architect of her pain, destroying the facility and sending the assistant to prison. Samuel then cares for Harper as her health deteriorates rapidly. She never forgives him for his betrayal. As she dies in intensive care, she asks if she is finally a perfect wife, a question that haunts him forever.
