Like the Evening Wind

The Story

Bride's elder sister kneels during the wedding, falsely accusing her of ruining her reputation. Enraged, the groom sends the bride to work as a maid in a low-end nightclub. She endures horrific, inhumane torment for two months. When the groom brings her home, he instantly shuns and neglects her. Fortunately, Dr. Ethan, the family physician who has secretly loved the bride for years, pulls her from despair.
