The Story

Harper faces relentless cruelty from her husband Samuel, who is manipulated by his assistant Ruby into imprisoning her in the Perfect Wives Academy. Under the control of Camilla and Daniel, she endures severe physical and psychological violence with Samuel’s approval. This brutal conditioning breaks her spirit, transforming her into the obedient wife he demanded. Upon viewing the torture footage, Samuel is consumed by guilt and rescues her, but she remains an empty shell, devoid of her passion for the cello. Samuel discovers Ruby orchestrated the academy’s horrors and has her arrested. He devotes himself to caring for Harper, who is terminally ill. She refuses to forgive him and dies in the hospital. Her final words are a bitter question asking if she is now a perfect wife. This accusation haunts Samuel forever.
