Maria the Little Lucky Star

The Story

Maria, a lop-eared rabbit orphan, grows up in a boar-folk village where her words always come true. The villagers view her as cursed and force her to live alone in a cowshed. Duchess Ethelyn finds Maria while lost, and the rabbit’s blessing unexpectedly cures Ethelyn’s chronic illness. Ethelyn brings Maria back to Avalon Ducal Manor, filling the lifeless castle with laughter. Maria uses her power to heal the crippled legs of the third young master, Cyrus, and slowly thaws the frozen heart of Duke Regulus. However, she foresaw a deadly conspiracy. Regulus will be assassinated, Ethelyn will die a horrible death, Cyrus will be crushed, and the entire manor will burn to ashes. Maria must rewrite this grim future.
