The Story

Liu Xiaoyu’s life shatters when her mother, Wang Xiufang, forces her younger sister, Liu Huimin, to cheat in a fateful draw, leaving Xiaoyu to marry the village chief’s mentally disabled son. This forced union plunges her into despair, especially after she goes missing while working in the city with her husband. Consumed by guilt, Wang Xiufang travels far to locate her eldest daughter. Meanwhile, Huimin, now attending college, becomes vain and materialistic, despising her humble background and poor mother. Her hypocrisy reaches a peak on the day of her engagement to a wealthy tycoon’s son, when both her mother and sister suddenly reappear. Their arrival exposes her deceitful nature to the world.
