Me After You: All Episodes

The Story

Teresa Swift stands trembling in a borrowed veil, forced to marry a groom rumored to be paralyzed and disfigured after her parents trade her as collateral. The ballroom guests bet she will flee within minutes. When the doors open, Noah Brady is revealed to be the stranger who once shielded her on a rainy night and broke a man’s ribs to protect her. He recognizes her instantly and signs the Swift empire into her name in silence. He shuts down her ex and catches the hand of the boss who strikes her. He cooks various breakfasts because he does not yet know her preference. Teresa, once dismissed as a stand-in and bargaining chip, begins to rise. She becomes the woman who brings her tormentors to their knees. Noah eventually kneels and whispers that he has been hopelessly in love with her for years. The world finally understands that this union was never a transaction. It was a rescue twenty years in the making.
