Mom, Please Forgive Me Again
The Story
Eleanor’s desperate act of selling her daughter Serena to the Granger family as a child bride sets the stage for a painful separation. Serena escapes to college, where she cuts ties with her mother and claims Eleanor is an overseas singer. While battling cancer, Eleanor visits Serena after the birth of her second child, bringing treatment money and local specialties. Serena treats her like a hired nurse, allowing her husband and mother-in-law to humiliate her. The dynamic shifts when Serena’s aunt Eleanor, the long-lost Second Daughter of the Kensington family, returns. The Kensington family exposes the truth about Serena’s past and her mother’s identity. Overcome with regret, Serena divorces her husband and reconciles with her mom. She vows to support her through her treatment. A mother’s boundless love finally awakens her daughter’s conscience, leading to a profound reconciliation after years of denial and cruelty.
