Mom's Support Money

The Story

Rose Hayes dies of terminal cancer, but her son Gary and wife Chloe conceal the tragedy to continue defrauding Sarah and Arthur of monthly support. The pair fabricate video evidence claiming the matriarch is simply visiting relatives, while secretly burying her ashes in the family plot under the false pretense that the grave holds neighbor Gus Carter's deceased dog. Suspicion ignites when Sarah and Arthur arrive for the fiftieth birthday celebration and discover the fresh earth. With assistance from Mayor Bennett, the siblings expose the elaborate deception. Enraged by the betrayal, they seize the remaining 2.21 million in funds and eject the unfilial couple from the home. The dying will subsequently reveals the full scope of their sins, dismantling the family's fragile facade.
