My Daughter Is A Mermaid
The Story
A widow shelters her half-mermaid daughter within a hidden tidal cave. As the girl grows too large for their secret home, the deep sea demands her return. Maya faces the painful necessity of releasing her child to the ocean. She then remains on the shore, waiting for a specific splash that confirms her daughter still remembers her mother.
