My Dear Daughter, Please Love Me Once More

The Story

A man’s obsessive devotion to his first love drives him to forbid his daughter, Aria, from ever calling him Father. The pain deepens on her birthday when she waits for him only to watch him propose to his ex-girlfriend. At a school talent show, the man’s mistress and her daughter bully Aria while he defends them against her. Their cruelty escalates as they steal her summer camp spot by force-feeding her strawberry cake, ignoring her deadly allergy and nearly killing her. Her mother steps in to protect her, filing for divorce and revealing her hidden identity as a Duke’s daughter. She uses her high status to seek justice for the abuse suffered. The man eventually kneels before them begging for forgiveness, but Aria remains silent on the matter of family. She never calls him Father again, holding onto the truth of his betrayal and the distance he forced between them.
