My fiancé's stern older brother

The Story

Susie realizes her gratitude toward Frank masks a deep, unrequited love for Jenny. As Frank grows cold and distant, she decides to end their engagement. Old Howard begs her to wait until her birthday, granting them one final month. Susie agrees but immediately moves out of the family home. During this fragile truce, Lonnie, Frank’s stern older brother who has just returned from abroad, begins spending significant time by her side. Frank initially dismisses her departure, yet he grows desperate as he watches Susie and Lonnie draw closer. He frantically attempts to win her back, but his efforts fall flat. Meanwhile, Susie finds herself genuinely falling for Lonnie. The looming one-month deadline hangs over them, keeping the world convinced she is still Frank’s fiancée. Every interaction between Susie and Lonnie is charged with restraint and dangerous tension, as they navigate their growing attraction while trapped in the shadow of an unfinished promise.
