My Husband Is My Brother

The Story

Sterling’s world shatters on his eighteenth birthday when his parents reveal he was switched at birth and Knox is the true heir. Left in turmoil, Sterling discovers his year-long online boyfriend DawnBreaker has vanished. College brings a new shock as Knox becomes his roommate, displaying a cold exterior while quietly caring for him with meals, laundry, and comfort during storms. Sterling resents Knox for taking his place yet feels moved by these acts, assuming they stem from parental guilt. When Sterling reconnects with DawnBreaker, strange coincidences fuel his suspicion. The truth emerges that Knox is DawnBreaker. He recognized Sterling’s watch at the party but hid due to fear, planning their reunion through shared living and thoughtful gestures. Knox even convinced his parents to change Sterling’s household registration to sever their nominal family ties. On Sterling’s nineteenth birthday, Knox proposes publicly using all his assets to reconcile their lives.
