The Story

Reese Calder orders a custom companion android, 006, bearing the face of Nolan Vance, her maddening lifelong rival. By day, the machine cooks, cleans, and obeys her command to kneel. By night, it breaks every protocol and makes her forget it is a machine. Kindred Care then texts that the companion has not yet shipped. Nolan dismisses the warning as a prank, while Miles calls it suicide, stating that Reese is done if she finds the truth. Reese discovers the reality anyway. The liar is still kneeling.
