Never Hire Relatives as Housekeepers

The Story

Caroline Sterling’s life descends into disorder when her mother Diane hires Brenda Jenkins as a housekeeper. Brenda and her daughter Jessica move in and immediately begin trashing the home. They ruin valuable items, steal cash, and bring men into the residence. The situation worsens as they break into the safe and ultimately kidnap Abby for a five million dollar ransom. Caroline repeatedly forgives the women, yet she faces increasingly severe betrayals. The chaos finally ends when police arrest Brenda and Jessica for kidnapping and extortion. Diane Sterling repents for her role in the mess, and peace is restored to the household.
