The Story

Jocelyn Shaw endures five years of Julian Forrester’s cold indifference, a man who still pines for Diana Dillon. When Julian’s mother forces the issue, Jocelyn becomes pregnant with another man’s child. She grants Julian one final opportunity, but his continued hurt drives her to plan her exit. To strike back, she reveals her four-month pregnancy. Julian realizes he cannot survive without her and desperately attempts to make her stay. However, the damage is already done, and it is too late for his pleas to change her mind.
