The Story

The device allows her to monitor their every move from a safe distance. Soon, reports confirm that her family has destroyed one another in a violent infighting. Lin Lu watches the news with cold satisfaction. She no longer answers their calls or returns to her home. The jade pendant remains with them, but the power has shifted entirely to her.
