Report to the CEO: He’s Retreated to the Remote Mountains

The Story

Huo Shaoting retreats to a remote mountain temple after losing his memory, seeking spiritual cultivation to recover his past. His father attempts to lure him back by offering a nationwide reward for a woman to seduce him off the mountain, but the plan fails. Ji Chenxi climbs the slopes to find him, hoping to save her critically ill daughter. The amnesiac Huo Shaoting misinterprets her presence, believing she is vain and only interested in his status. Forced to return to the hospital, she unexpectedly encounters him there as he receives treatment. He forms a bond with her daughter, yet his suspicion of Ji Chenxi only intensifies. As their relationship shifts through conflict, Huo Shaoting performs surgery on the child and suddenly regains his memory. This revelation exposes a conspiracy where his adoptive father murdered his biological mother. He successfully exacts revenge, clears the misunderstanding with Ji Chenxi, and begins a new life with their small family.
