Return of the Asura: All Episodes

The Story

Lu Jing, the supreme Asura Commander of Daxia, abandons his legendary status to live as an ordinary man. His mother forces him into a blind date, where he secretly saves the head of the wealthy Yu family from Dragon-tier bandits. Yu Chaoqing, the Yu family’s eldest daughter, needs an obedient husband to reject a forced marriage and secure control over the Tianlan Group. Lu Jing agrees to this contract arrangement to appease his mother. The Yu family and his ex-girlfriend, Shen Shishi, view him as a poor retired soldier and mock his lack of wealth. Shen Shishi, now involved with Li Youwei and Ye Qiuye, schedules her wedding for the same day and hotel as Lu Jing’s. Ye Qiuye colludes with foreign forces to turn the event into a funeral banquet, summoning Dragon-tier mercenaries to attack the Yu family. Lu Jing’s true identity remains hidden until the critical moment of the assault.
