The Story

Two sisters overcome a great tribulation to ascend the heavens together. One selects the upper realm to pursue the supreme path. The other abandons everything for a mortal emperor. She breaks her immortal bones to become his empress. Years later, the first sister descends to find her trapped beneath the Demon Tower. Her meridians are severed, and her body is withered. She is used as a sacrifice to sustain the empire. The once-divine figure is reduced to a mere shadow. Betrayal follows her total devotion. The surviving sister descends from the heavens to enact justice. She forces the betrayers to pay for their crimes. She protects her sister's soul. She ends the cruel and forbidden love.
