Seventh Bride: Don’t Trust the Roses (Season 1)
The Story
Victoria discovers an unlocked chamber in Blackwood Manor on her wedding night. Six headless mannequins wear gowns from different eras, while a seventh bears her own name. Her husband Lucien hands her a pocket watch that counts down three hundred and sixty-four days until her death. Three centuries ago, the Blackwoods wronged a witch coven, and every bride since has died on day three hundred and sixty-five. As a book restorer, Victoria investigates instead of fleeing. She finds that wall carvings are made of blood and that an ancient rune trapped the first wife Isabella. Isabella reveals the curse originates in a witch tomb beneath the manor. When a black rose pricks Victoria, her blood glows blue, identifying her as the last Thornheart witch descendant. Lucien spent ten years finding her to break the curse. Other wives left clues, including invisible coordinates and coded paper cranes. One wife was actually murdered.
