She Chose the Dragon

The Story

Princess Isolde of Viridia gives up her life as a sacrifice to the kingdom’s dragon after discovering Captain Leon’s betrayal with her sister Eileen. In the desolate dragon territory, she finds that Kalen, a thousand-year-old creature branded as a cruel tyrant, is actually a gentle and lonely being. The two wounded souls comfort and heal each other, forming a deep bond that bridges the gap between mortal and mythical worlds. Leon rushes to plead for her mercy, but Isolde firmly rejects his attempts to regain her favor. Eileen’s malicious schemes are exposed, and she receives due punishment for her treachery. Isolde chooses to stay by Kalen’s side, leaving her painful past behind. Together, the lovers rebuild the barren land, breathing new vitality into the long-desolate realm.
