She Left The Ashes Behind

The Story

Elana sacrifices her entire existence for a husband and children who offer no protection. On the day of her delivery, her newborns are seized and transferred to another woman. The family strips away even her most precious dragon scale under the guise of atonement. Regret arrives far too late to reverse the damage. Reborn in a location distant from the palace, she transforms into a healer. She discovers warmth once more and abandons the remnants of her previous life.
