The Story

Snow covers the ground as Elara, bound in a crimson gown, is dragged toward a brutal fate. Her husband sacrifices her to protect his pregnant mistress, certain that the Wolf King will obliterate her in the North. He assumes she will vanish into the cold, forgotten and dead. He ignores the fact that Elara once pulled a starving boy from a fighting pit seven years ago. That boy is now Kael, the ruthless ruler of the wolf army.
