Five years later, Elias meets the child at a charity gala. He clears the misunderstanding and saves her. A pendant clue and DNA test confirm his paternity. Elias learns Seraphina sacrificed her trust fund and life for his sake. He destroys Caspian and donates his bone marrow. Overcome by guilt, Elias attempts suicide. Seraphina intervenes through the mirror realm to stop him. The father and daughter begin a new life while Seraphina watches over them as a guardian angel.
