The Story

Villagers strip a pond of its rare Koi, triggering a medical emergency that fills the local ICU. They dismiss the owner’s toxic warning as a selfish bluff, unaware the fish are engineered to absorb decades of lead and mercury. With a liability waiver already filed with the village committee, the owner refuses to intervene. The crowd proceeds to consume the contaminated catch, believing they are enjoying a prize when they are actually ingesting heavy metals.
