The Agent Family’s Lost Heiress

The Story

Twelve-year-old Mia clutches a worn silver pocket watch while navigating a series of foster homes. Her arrival at the wealthy Ashford estate is cut short when her biological brother Ethan rejects her as a fraud and casts her out. Rain-soaked and lost, Mia accidentally enters the home of the Blackwoods. This seemingly dangerous household harbors a secret: they are elite agents for AEGIS, a covert organization dedicated to rescuing exploited children. As Mia integrates into their lives, she joins the hunt for Grey Beacon, a trafficking network linked to fragments of her forgotten past. A kidnapping incident forces the Blackwoods to reveal their true identities. The pocket watch then confirms that Mia is the Ashfords’ long-lost daughter. She refuses to choose between her blood relatives and her found family. Mia ultimately secures two families and a home that truly stays.
