Kane enters the Thunder Knight trials to shield his sister and home. His old hammer unexpectedly awakens as the legendary Mjolnir. He rapidly develops thunder powers while the corrupted High Priest Hermann hunts him relentlessly. Kane ultimately defeats Hermann and discovers he is the son of Thor. He then travels to Asgard to fight alongside his father.
