The Bride Who Made the Border Bloom
The Story
Apocalypse survivor Elin arrives in the American West in 1878 as a homeless maid. Seeking safety, she proactively proposes to Roland, a poor cavalry sergeant. Using her unique ability to grow and control plants, she harvests wild greens and valuable medicinal herbs from the mountains. This effort lifts his family out of poverty. Isabel, her vain former coworker, grows jealous and schedules a competing wedding for the same day. The two feasts stand in sharp contrast. Through sincerity and diligence, Elin earns the respect of the villagers. Supported by each other, she and Roland discover true love. Together, they build a warm life on the barren border.
