The Story

Lily returns from the water with a deadly deadline: gather five genuine tears from those who love her before her soul vanishes forever. While her biological father Daniel abandons her, she finds shelter under the protection of William, Margaret, and Ethan. William faces mortal danger as the situation escalates. Ultimately, Daniel, Chloe, William, Margaret, and Ethan all weep true tears for her. These five drops allow Lily to shatter the death curse, though she loses the ability to see spirits.
