The Father's Sin

The Story

Kathleen discovers her five-year-old twins lying lifeless and bruised the morning after violent men drag the screaming girls from their home. The abduction stems from a single act where the children upset her husband's first love, prompting him to send them to a behavior correction camp. The little girls cling to the car door, crying out for their father as they are torn away from safety. While Kathleen mourns the sudden, permanent silence of her daughters, her husband remains oblivious to the tragedy. He spends the time on Instagram, celebrating the pregnancy of the woman who triggered the catastrophic events that destroyed his family.
