The marriage lacks intimacy, leaving Alice trapped in a hollow existence. When Richard’s younger brother Noah arrives for the summer, the past resurfaces. They were lovers before their separation. Years ago, Alice’s father fell seriously ill. Richard intervened by offering to pay the medical bills, effectively forcing Alice into marriage. This financial pressure tore the couple apart. Now, with Noah back in her life, the old connection ignites. Alice finds herself drawn back to the passion that was stolen from her. The comfortable cage of her current life begins to crack as these old feelings resurface. She must navigate the complicated dynamics between her husband and his brother while confronting the choices that defined her past.
