The Moonless Healer

The Story

In Silverpine, werewolf nobles disguise themselves as ancient families and medical foundations within human society. Liora Vale, a low-ranking Moonlight Healer, possesses no offensive powers and serves the elite as a subordinate physician. When Serena, the fiancée of Alpha heir Kael Ashborne, enters a Dark Moon Coma before their engagement, the noble elders blame Liora for healing the future Luna to death. They demand a public trial to cover the curse spreading through the clan. On the dock, the werewolves call for her punishment. Kael intervenes by activating the Alpha Oath Seal, imprinting his life mark onto Liora’s palm. A silvery light flares, and the Black Moon fissures on his body vanish. He declares that she saved him rather than killed her. Liora transforms from a scorned healer into the only antidote for the wolf clan. Kael must protect her, placing himself in conflict with his own clan, the Council of Elders, and their political allies.
