The Real Mrs. Morris

The Story

Catherine Morris returns from a year of research in Seattle to find her life dismantled. Her husband, Evan, broke their child-free agreement and fathered a baby with his mistress, Megan, who now squats in their Beverly Hills mansion posing as the real Mrs. Morris. Blocked, humiliated, and falsely labeled mentally ill, Catherine is ousted from her own home. Her brother, Chris, rescues her from this chaos. She soon realizes that Evan’s wealth and status stem from stealing her patents. Justice eventually catches up with the villains. Megan is jailed for fraud, while Evan faces prison time for aggravated assault and bigamy. Overcoming her trauma, Catherine presents her groundbreaking research. She becomes a Nobel nominee and shines as herself, no longer defined as just the chairman’s sister.
